The theme of this year’s conference is “Contextual Design Science Research: Local Solutions for Global Challenges”. In an increasingly interconnected world, global issues such as climate change, public health crises, and socio-economic disparities require both broad strategies and localized interventions. This theme underscores the importance of creating solutions tailored to the unique needs and contexts of specific communities while addressing broader global issues.
The DESRIST 2025 track "Entrepreneurship and Innovation" seeks high quality design science submissions on topics related to innovation management and entrepreneurship. Both empirical and conceptual papers that make strong contributions to the body of design knowledge in these areas and aim to provide significant practical value are welcome. Methodological contributions that provide guidance for conducting design science research in these areas are also encouraged.
